Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract An exciting opportunity awaits for a skilled Registered Nurse with a passion for supporting students in a dynamic high school environment. This contract role provides an immediate start and the chance to make a meaningful impact over a 12-week period. With a collaborative nursing team, you'll help ensure a safe and healthy learning environment for the entire building.
Key Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Massachusetts RN license Previous nursing experience in a school setting preferred, but not required Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to multitask and respond calmly in fast-paced situations Team-oriented mindset and a commitment to student well-being
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver direct nursing care to students, responding to immediate health needs and managing chronic conditions Administer medications and monitor treatments as prescribed Collaborate with other RNs and LPNs to support the health office and entire school building Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state protocols Communicate effectively with students, families, and school staff Promote a positive and healthy school climate
Role Details:
12-week contract position with the potential for extension 35 hours per week, Monday through Friday (7:15am - 2:15pm) Serve as an integral part of the high school healthcare team This is a fantastic position for a compassionate RN interested in making a difference in the lives of students.
