Overnight Newborn Care Nurse / Newborn Care Specialist (Boston, MA) Nurtureley LLC is a Boston-based newborn care company founded by a NICU Nurse, providing in-home overnight and daytime care, newborn education, and support for new families in their first weeks home. We're growing our team and looking for experienced nurses or newborn care specialists who want reliable, meaningful work. About the Role You'll provide in-home care for newborns: feeding support, soothing, sleep safety, and newborn care education for parents. Our goal is to provide quality and trustworthy care so families can rest and recover. Shifts are primarily overnight (typically 8-12 hours), with potential for daytime shifts as well depending on client need and your availability. All care takes place in the family's home, in the Boston area. On-Call Availability We're building a flexible bench of nurses and newborn care specialists who can be called on as client bookings come in. This isn't a fixed weekly schedule: shifts get assigned as families book care, so you'll get a shift request with as much notice as we have, and you accept what works for you. The more availability you give us, the more shifts we can offer you. What We're Looking For RN license (any state that allows reciprocity) or Newborn Care Specialist Minimum of 3+ years of paid, overnight newborn-specific care experience (as a newborn care specialist, postpartum doula, or nurse). General daytime childcare experience does not count toward this requirement. NICU experience preferred Must be able to provide 2 professional references CPR certification (willingness to become certified, if hired) Knowledge of American Academy of Pediatrics newborn care techniques and safety protocols Must be able to work overnights and some weekends Reliable, professional, and comfortable working independently overnight Clean background check (required before first shift) Must pass a pre-employment drug screen Reliable transportation to client homes in the Greater Boston area A genuine love for providing nurturing care for babies and their families Duties Provide attentive and responsive care to infant(s), ensuring their safety and well-being at all times Communicate effectively with parents or guardians regarding the infant's care, feeding and sleep schedules, progress, and any concerns Provide education and support to families Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to providing safe care What You Get Flexible, PRN overnight shifts — pick up as many or as few as fit your schedule Direct mentorship from a NICU RN founder W2 payroll: taxes withheld Room to grow as the team expands

Pay:
Newborn Care Specialists:

$30-35/hr

More Experienced Newborn Care Specialists:

$37-40/hr

Registered Nurses:
