This contract opportunity is ideal for a Registered Nurse who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about promoting a safe, healthy school community. As part of a skilled team alongside fellow RNs and LPNs, you'll serve as a trusted resource for students, staff, and families.
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse license in Massachusetts is required School nursing experience is highly desired, but strong clinical backgrounds will be considered Excellent assessment, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently Experience supporting adolescents in a healthcare or school setting is a plus
Responsibilities:
Provide daily nursing care, assessments, and interventions for students and staff Respond quickly to medical emergencies and administer first aid as needed Support students with chronic health needs and medication management Maintain accurate health records and ensure compliance with state and school policies Collaborate closely with other nursing staff to support the entire school building Promote health education and offer guidance on wellness topics This assignment runs as soon as possible for 12 weeks, in a vibrant high school with dedicated office hours from 7:15 AM to 2:15 PM, Monday through Friday for a total of 35 hours per week.
