Working alongside a diverse surgical team, you'll care for patients across a wide array of specialties, helping to enhance both your clinical insight and your resume. Surrounded by new approaches to care and innovative leadership styles, you'll broaden your perspective while enjoying all that Cambridge has to offer during your downtime—from exploring local eateries and museums to strolling along the Charles River.
Schedule Details:
12-hour shifts, totaling 36 hours per week Day/Evening rotation: Day shift starts at 7a; Evening shifts start at 9a or 11a Every 3rd weekend, as needed; every other holiday On call: 1x per schedule Flexibility to float to other ORs if requiredQualifications:
Active RN license with BLS certification Minimum 2 years inpatient OR experience, with Level 1 trauma background preferred Scrub experience required; must demonstrate competency in at least 5 of the listed surgical specialties (general, GYN, GU, oral, oto, bariatrics, ortho, neuro, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastics, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, spine) Strong communication skills, adaptability, positive attitude Preference for those with neuro and vascular surgery experienceKey Responsibilities:
Provide safe and effective care before, during, and after surgery Scrub and circulate various surgical procedures as assigned Collaborate with multi-disciplinary surgical teams Adhere to evidence-based practice and institutional policies Participate in on-call coverage and assist in secondary ORs as neededBenefits and Travel Perks:
