Job Description

Vascular Access Nurse (Part-Time) Location
  • Cambridge, MA Pay
  • $60 Hourly DOE Schedule Part-Time
  • 28 Hours Per Week Alternating two
  • and three-day work weeks including: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday Shifts may include day, evening, and weekend coverage as needed.

Our clinic specializes in ketamine infusion therapy for patients experiencing depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other complex mental health conditions. We are a small, highly skilled clinical team committed to creating a calm, safe, and supportive environment where patients feel genuinely cared for during some of their most vulnerable moments. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Vascular Access Nurse (RN) to join our infusion team. This role is ideal for a nurse with strong IV expertise, a steady clinical presence, and a passion for delivering patient-centered care in a meaningful setting. You will play a key role in initiating and managing IV ketamine infusions while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and emotional support throughout the treatment process. Key Responsibilities Initiate and manage IV infusions for ketamine therapy patients Provide expert vascular access care with precision and consistency Monitor patients closely for safety, comfort, and clinical response during infusions Create a calm, reassuring environment for patients during treatment sessions Offer compassionate emotional support to patients undergoing mental health therapy Collaborate with a multidisciplinary clinical team to ensure seamless patient care Maintain high standards of clinical documentation and patient safety protocols Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Massachusetts Extensive vascular access experience Minimum of 30 IV starts per week over the past 12 months (required) Experience in high-acuity or high-volume settings such as: ER / Emergency Department ICU IV Therapy / Vascular Access Team Outpatient infusion clinic Dialysis or similar environment Strong technical proficiency in IV initiation and maintenance Ideal Candidate Traits Highly confident in IV insertion and vascular access procedures Calm, composed, and steady under pressure Naturally empathetic with strong patient communication skills Able to provide emotional reassurance to patients in a mental health setting Reliable, professional, and team-oriented Committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences Why Join Us Be part of a mission-driven clinic transforming mental health treatment Work in a beautiful, private practice setting Join a close-knit, supportive clinical team Competitive hourly compensation Opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patients' lives every day Application Requirements Willingness to provide 3-5 professional references from prior roles Interested?
