13 Weeks (Extendable)
Shift Details:
36 hours per week
Night Shift:
7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts) Every other weekend required Rotating holidays required
Note:
No RTO permitted during the week of July 4
Weekly Compensation:
Up to $2,800 (based on experience) Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical skills, critical thinking, and the ability to manage complex patient cases effectively. Key Responsibilities Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive patient documentation Perform ongoing patient assessments including physical, psychological, and social needs Develop and communicate care plans with interdisciplinary teams Demonstrate proficiency in charge nurse responsibilities when required Use computerized nursing informatics systems effectively Serve as a resource and mentor for staff, including orientation and training support Participate in staff meetings, mandatory training, and quality improvement initiatives Monitor and evaluate patient care quality and outcomes Adhere to safety protocols including infection control and blood/body fluid policies Maintain ongoing professional development and continuing education Perform additional duties as assigned by leadership Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience At least 1 year of travel ER RN experience Strong skills in IV administration, IV starts, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring Successful completion of pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams (as required by facility) Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Certifications Required BLS (AHA)
