Do you want to work Monday-Friday? No Weekends? Apply within! Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a hospital setting, with a focus in geriatrics. The Nurse will be responsible for assessing patient needs, administering treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients' health status and needs. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including tube feeding and catheterization. Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patients' conditions. Document patient care accurately, utilizing appropriate coding such as ICD-9. Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options. Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, adhering to hospital protocols. Participate in emergency response situations as necessary. Qualifications Valid nursing license in the state of practice. Experience in Long-term care Knowledge of emergency medicine practices is essential. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team. Ability to perform under pressure in critical situations. Commitment to providing compassionate care to all patients.
