Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity as a Registered Nurse providing essential care and support within a high school environment. This role is perfect for an RN passionate about working with students and collaborating closely with a dedicated school health team.
Key Requirements:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts—required Previous experience in school nursing or caring for pediatric populations preferred Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to respond effectively in a fast-paced setting and manage confidential information with professionalism Commitment to supporting the health and well-being of students and staff
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver nursing care and health screenings for students throughout the building Collaborate daily with other RNs and LPNs to cover all healthcare needs within the school Administer medications and first aid as needed in accordance with state and school guidelines Maintain clear health records and communicate proactively with families and staff on student health matters Provide guidance on health protocols, illness prevention, and emergency response Support the overall well-being of the school community during office hours (7:15 am - 2:15 pm, 35 hours/week) This position offers a clear schedule with no evening or weekend hours, allowing you to achieve work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on students' lives. The contract duration is approximately 12 weeks, starting as soon as possible.
