Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-ICU Job Type Travel Deliver critical care excellence as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Intensive Care Unit. This challenging contract opportunity requires dedication to patient well-being and strong clinical skills. You'll provide vital support, coordinate care, and help drive positive outcomes for patients in a fast-paced, collaborative ICU setting.
Schedule/Hours:
36 hours per week Balanced 50/50 split between day and night shifts Every other weekend (EOW) and every other holiday (EOH) required
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse license Minimum 2 years of recent acute care inpatient or current ICU experience At least 1 year of travel nursing background Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and protocols
Responsibilities:
Manage high-acuity patients in the ICU, ensuring safe, compassionate care delivery Monitor patient conditions, assess changes, and respond with urgency Administer medications, therapies, and interventions per physician orders Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and interdisciplinary teams on care planning Educate patients and families while providing emotional support Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress accurately
