A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Job Description
Responsibilities Include:
- Updating and maintaining patient records through our electronic health record
- Triaging both pediatric and adult medical calls and walk-ins in a knowledgeable, professional manner
- Coordinating with Provider and office team to ensure seamless patient care in regards to triage, appointment scheduling, result delivery, and patient education
- Collecting and processing lab specimens and performing other clinical visit tasks as assigned
Updating Flow Sheets, Monitoring PT/INR, Pre-visit Planning Qualifications and Skills:
- Experienced Massachusetts Registered Nurse in good standing
- Strong clinical, triage, prioritization, and decision making skills
- Experience working with an electronic health record
- High level of professionalism, autonomy, and dependability
- Strong customer service and patient education skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
