Responsibilities Depending on licensure, responsibilities include: Provide high-quality nursing care in Skilled Nursing, Long-Term Care, and Assisted Living settings. Monitor vital signs and observe changes in residents' conditions, reporting concerns promptly. Assist with rehabilitation programs and support residents in achieving the highest possible level of independence. Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility, as appropriate. Perform wound care, specimen collection, diagnostic testing, and other nursing procedures within scope of practice. Accurately document patient care, treatments, observations, and communications in medical records. Assist physicians during examinations and procedures when required. Ensure a safe, compassionate, and respectful environment for all residents. Follow all facility policies, infection control standards, and state and federal regulations. QualificationsRegistered Nurse (RN) Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license. Minimum of 3 months of experience in a post-acute care, long-term care, skilled nursing, or inpatient hospital setting. Ability to pass a state-required background check. Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Graduate of an approved Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) program. Current Massachusetts Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license. Minimum of 3 months of experience in a post-acute care, long-term care, skilled nursing, or inpatient hospital setting. Ability to pass a state-required background check.
