Job Description
Integrity Veterinary Center (IVC) is seeking skilled Veterinary Technicians for overnight and swing ER shifts. We are a privately owned specialty, emergency and urgent care hospital providing advanced services in internal medicine, clinical nutrition, oncology, outpatient imaging (ultrasound and CT), complex dental procedures for high-anesthetic-risk patients and soft tissue surgery. What We Offer Flexible Scheduling Choose between a 3- or 4-day workweek with a protected lunch break. Competitive Compensation & Benefits $24-$30/hour (VTS $30+/hour) $3.00/hour shift differential for hours worked between 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM $100 bonus for each holiday worked Two additional floating PTO days Medical, dental, and vision insurance Monthly pet insurance reimbursement Uniform allowance 3 weeks accrued vacation 1 week accrued sick leave 1 week continuing education leave Annual CE stipend Respectful Client Interactions All clients sign a behavior agreement at their first visit. Commitment to Education Our doctors and technicians actively mentor team members. We host monthly anesthesia-focused Zoom rounds along with additional sessions covering clinical advancements and professional development topics. Accessible Leadership As an independently operated hospital, leadership works alongside the clinical team daily and welcomes input. Many of our most impactful changes have originated from staff ideas. Primary Responsibilities Perform jugular and peripheral venipuncture Place IV catheters and conduct in-house laboratory diagnostics Monitor and manage patients under sedation and anesthesia Assist veterinarians in emergency, specialty, and urgent outpatient cases Obtain patient histories and provide thorough case updates during shift rounds Maintain clear communication with clients and colleagues Support a cooperative and efficient team environment Qualifications Proficiency with Doppler blood pressure monitoring, venipuncture, catheter placement, lab procedures, and anesthesia/sedation monitoring Strong communication and analytical skills Ability to remain composed and effective in a fast-paced ER setting Team-focused mindset with a desire for continued growth
Preferred:
