1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced Labor & Delivery RN for a night shift maternity float pool position requiring AWHONN Intermediate certification and Epic experience. Details Hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit with maternity float pool coverage between L&D and Postpartum Night shift schedule (3x12 hours, 18:45-07:15), 36 hours per week Required to work every other weekend and holiday Union facility with no special scheduling accommodations; must be able to work all 7 days Uses Epic EMR Requirements Active MA RN license (temp/conditional license accepted at time of submission, permanent required within 48 hours of offer) Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN Intermediate or above 3 years of L&D experience strongly preferred; will consider 1-2+ years with travel experience Epic EMR experience required First-time travelers considered only if coming from a teaching hospital with required teaching hospital experience Skilled in labor and delivery management, fetal monitoring, and postpartum care procedures Additional Information Responsibilities include labor and delivery management, fetal monitoring, medication administration, and postpartum care Must pass two pass/fail exams at orientation (medication exam and telemetry exam), each with one attempt; failure results in immediate contract cancellation Study materials provided during compliance process and orientation Local candidates accepted at the same bill rate 75-mile radius requirement for local candidate eligibility Returning staff must have a 12-month separation from the health system Up to 14 days of RTO may be submitted for review; no RTO allowed during the first week of assignment
