What they do
A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.

Coordinate and complete all MDS assessments and resident care plans Ensure timely, accurate documentation and regulatory compliance Lead interdisciplinary care plan meetings with residents and families Monitor CMS Quality Measures and identify opportunities for improvement Collaborate with nursing, therapy, dietary, social services, and rehabilitation teams Support Medicare reimbursement accuracy through complete documentation Participate in QAPI initiatives and survey readiness Assist with policy development, clinical documentation, and quality improvement initiatives Help maintain compliance with federal and state regulationsQualifications Job Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland Proficiency with electronic medical records CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain) MDS experience required Strong knowledge of MDS regulations and submission process Experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skillsBenefits & Perks:
