A Registered Nurse provides medical care and treatment, educates patients about their conditions, and provides emotional support to patients and families. Works in hospitals, schools, clinics or community health centers. Works under the supervision of a physician or other specialist, and serves as the primary point of care for patients in a hospital setting. May specialize in emergency room work, or treatment for a particular condition, or specialize in working with infants, the elderly or other patient groups. May work as an advanced practice specialists and prescribe medications in addition to offering specialty care.
Aspen Hill 13415 Connecticut Ave, Ste 100 Aspen Hill , MD 20906 Position Purpose Using the Quality Caring Model, this Registered Nurse will demonstrate acceptable performance and apply the nursing process to plan and manage the care of routine patients, including patient and family education and continuum of care planning. The Registered Nurse will effectively communicate fundamental patient/family information to our health care team. As a Registered Nurse, you will: Identify and communicate variances from patient goals. Provide and coordinate interdisciplinary patient care utilizing the nursing process. Establish caring relationships with patient and family. Establish caring relationships with interdisciplinary team members. Minimum Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited nursing program with a basic professional nursing degree (BSN or MSN). Current RN licensure by the Maryland State Board of Nursing.
BLS Pay Range :
$37.59 - $58.29 per hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.
