Traveler Requirements:

RN MD state license, BLS, ACLS, NIH; 1-year experience in telemetry or cardiac unit; strong skills/experience; willing to accept first-time travelers with strong skills/experience

Responsibilities:

Provide specialized care to telemetry patients with primary or secondary cardiac diagnoses, stroke/TIA, and stable cardiac cath patients. Monitor patients remotely using telemetry systems and follow protocols for cardiac drips including Cardizem, Amiodarone, Heparin, Protonix, and Lasix. Ensure patient safety and comfort during 12-hour night shifts while adhering to hospital policies. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care to adult and geriatric patients. Follow infection control procedures and document patient progress accurately.
