1 Description American Traveler is seeking an experienced travel RN for a PACU position requiring ICU experience, Cerner proficiency, and prior travel assignment history. Details Position is in a PACU unit within a hospital setting Patient population includes Pediatric PACU, Phase I, Phase II recovery, and pre/post-op patients Day/Evening rotation with shift times of 0800-1630 and 1100-1930 (5x8 shifts) On-call required, approximately 5-6 times per six-week period during day/evening hours Floating required to cover the ICU 2 weekends required per 6-week period Cerner EMR experience is required Requirements Active MD or Compact RN license currently in hand Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, and PALS Minimum 2 years of RN experience required ICU experience required Pediatric PACU, Phase I, Phase II recovery, and pre/post-op experience required Cerner EMR proficiency required Must have completed at least 1 prior travel assignment — first-time travelers will not be considered Must pass the Relias EKG Rhythm Interpretation Exam with a minimum score of 80% overall and 100% on lethal rhythms 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration Additional Information Scrubs are provided by the facility Local candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are accepted 13-week contract
