Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) - Join Our Caring Team! Lions Rehab Center, a 101-bed skilled nursing facility in Cumberland, Maryland, is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team of dedicated healthcare professionals. As an RN at Lions Rehab Center, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in patients' lives while working in a supportive and team-driven environment. About the Role As a Registered Nurse at Lions Rehab Center, you'll be a cornerstone of our clinical team, providing hands-on care, critical assessments, and clinical leadership. You'll collaborate with physicians, CNAs, and other healthcare professionals to ensure every resident receives the dignity and support they deserve. Key Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with care plans Administer medications and treatments as prescribed Assess and monitor residents' health status and respond promptly to changes Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the interdisciplinary team Supervise and support CNAs and LPNs as needed Document accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) Follow all policies and procedures of the facility Serves as charge nurses when assigned Participates as required in quality assurance and performance improvement activities Attends all required educational activities and meetings Maintains confidentiality of resident and facility information Demonstrates respect of resident rights and dignity Qualifications Current, unencumbered RN license in Maryland or Multistate CPR/BLS certification (or ability to obtain upon hire) Prior experience in long-term care or geriatrics is a plus—but we'll train the right candidate Strong communication and critical thinking skills A team-player mindset with a passion for patient-centered care Why Join Us?
