Job Description

Snowden River Surgery Center is seeking a registered nurse for a full-time position in our ophthalmic ambulatory surgical center. Duties will rotate between pre-op, PACU, and OR circulating. At Snowden River Surgery Center, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life through our patients through providing comprehensive eye care and outpatient surgery for adults.
Criteria:
Candidate must possess excellent critical thinking skills and be detail-oriented Requires teamwork and flexibility Knowledge of maintaining a sterile field The nurse will supervise and direct patient care in a single operating room The nurse will organize time, equipment, supplies, and personnel to provide effective and efficient case management. The nurse will address patient needs during admission to the operating room, with attention to requirements specific to the ASC setting Hours vary slightly with the surgical schedule, but typical hours are 0700 to 1530. The ideal candidate will be available 5 days per week.
Required Experience:
2 years of Nursing Experience Critical care experience is a plus Ambulatory Surgery experience is preferred
BLS, ACLS
are required Must have current Maryland R.N. license
