Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Maryland 3+ years of experience as a registered Nurse Scrubbing and circulating in the Operating Room Starting and administering IV s Strong attention to detail and proactive Providing patient education Monitoring and assessing patients Discussing procedures Reviewing discharge instructions

BSN BLS and ACLS Certified DUTIES:

The Operating Room Nurse s duties include but are not limited to the following: Provide support in the Operating Room but scrubbing and circulating on surgical cases Initiate and administer IV s Review upcoming procedures with patients Ready patients for procedures Report adverse reactions to medications or treatments Provide discharge instructions to patients Record patients medical information and vital signs.
