Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - IR Job Type Contract Step into an engaging opportunity as an RN specializing in Interventional Radiology, working with a dedicated vascular team. This contract role is designed for experienced nurses ready to support a seamless transition as a valued team member, focusing solely on vascular procedures—no neuro, stroke, or catheter lab work required.

August Key Responsibilities:
Deliver patient-centered care throughout vascular procedures, including pulmonary embolism interventions, thrombectomies, angiograms, fistula management, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), and nephrostomies. Collaborate with interventional radiologists and technologists to optimize patient outcomes. Closely monitor patients before, during, and after procedures, promptly responding to changes in clinical status. Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of patient procedures and responses in line with facility protocols. Utilize critical thinking and technical skills for the safe administration of medications and care during complex vascular interventions.
Desired Qualifications:
Active RN license. Recent clinical experience in Interventional Radiology, specifically in vascular cases. Strong IV skills and comfort operating in fast-paced procedural settings. Proven ability to communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams. BLS and ACLS certifications required. Previous travel nursing or contract experience preferred but not mandatory. Why Apply?
