Job Description

Category Nursing - RN - IR Job Type Contract An excellent opportunity is available for a skilled RN with strong Interventional Radiology experience to join a dynamic healthcare team on a contract basis. This role focuses exclusively on vascular procedures, providing critical support for a range of advanced interventions including PE, thrombectomies, DVT treatments, angiograms, fistulas, and nephrostomies. No neuro, stroke, or cath lab responsibilities are required, ensuring your expertise is applied solely within the vascular realm.
Key Qualifications:
Valid RN license with up-to-date credentials Proven experience in Interventional Radiology nursing (IR RN) Strong background in vascular procedures (PE, thrombectomies, DVT, angiograms, fistulas, nephrostomies) Excellent IV skills and knowledge of sterile technique Ability to think critically and remain calm under pressure Strong communication and organizational skills
Core Responsibilities:
Collaborate closely with physicians and the IR team to assist in vascular procedures Prepare and monitor patients before, during, and after interventions Manage IV lines, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide patient education Ensure a sterile, well-organized environment and adhere to all safety protocols Document procedures and patient care accurately in medical records Provide high-quality, compassionate care for patients throughout their IR experience
Contract Details:
Full time need; position to start mid-August This assignment is ideal for an IR RN with vascular expertise interested in making a meaningful impact within a fast-paced department.
