Job Description As a Pediatric Nurse with Mid-Atlantic Pediatric Partners, you'll play a vital role in transforming the lives of families by providing compassionate, evidence-based care. Compensation:
$29 - $40 hourly
Responsibilities:
Perform pediatric triage assessments for phone calls and in-office patient concerns, and document accurately and clearly in the electronic medical record Assess symptoms, determine urgency, and prioritize care based on pediatric protocols, and document accurately and clearly in the electronic medical record Provide age-appropriate nursing guidance and education to parents and caregivers Assist with in-office clinical duties as needed (vitals, immunizations, procedures) Complete Prior Authorizations Accurately document assessments and care plans in the electronic health record (EHR) Follow pediatric clinical guidelines, infection control standards, office policies, and aid in the research and implementation of established pediatric guidelines and protocols Maintain patient confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations Complete School Forms and any requested
Patient Letters Qualifications:
Experience in pediatric nursing, with a focus on triage assessments and patient care Ability to accurately document patient interactions and care plans in an electronic health record (EHR) system Proven track record of providing age-appropriate guidance and education to parents and caregivers Competence in performing clinical duties such as taking vitals, administering immunizations, and assisting with procedures Familiarity with completing Prior Authorizations and managing related documentation Understanding of pediatric clinical guidelines, infection control standards, and HIPAA regulations Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to office policies and protocols consistently About Company With a combined 43 years of pediatric services, Mid-Atlantic Pediatric Partners manages and represents the collaboration of two established, independent practices in

Metropolitan Pediatrics and THH Pediatrics. Initiated in January 2020, Mid-Atlantic Pediatric Partners united 14 pediatric providers with the goal of delivering compassionate, individualized, and evidence-based pediatric care. With the goal of optimizing each child's wellness, our teams of clinicians and staff take great pride in partnering with families to establish and maintain a comprehensive medical home.
