Job Description

Aya Locums is seeking an experienced Cardiology Nurse Practitioner for an ongoing locum assignment in the Rockville area, supporting a leading healthcare system.

Schedule:
Monday Friday 8:30 AM 5:00
PM Contract Length:
Ongoing until a permanent provider is secured
Position Details Setting:
50% Inpatient 50%
Outpatient Support Staff:
MDs and APPs Patient Load:
Inpatient:
patients/day
Outpatient:
9 13 patients/day
Inpatient Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of cardiology patients at Shady Grove Medical Center Conduct consults, subsequent visits, discharge planning, and collaborate with cardiologists and APP team members
Outpatient Responsibilities:
Perform nuclear stress testing and follow-up visits (30 min each) Handle prescription refills, review diagnostic results, and communicate with patients as needed
