Position Summary Holy Cross Health, a member of Trinity Health , is seeking a Nurse Supervisor to provide frontline clinical leadership on our PCU/Neuro Unit . This unit provides specialized care for patients requiring close monitoring for neurological and progressive medical conditions, including stroke, seizures, and post-ICU step-down care. Nurses in this unit manage complex patients with continuous telemetry, frequent neuro assessments, and interventions aimed at stabilizing and improving neurological function. The unit emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and evidence-based protocols to support optimal recovery outcomes. Reporting to the Director of PCU/Neuro , the Nurse Supervisor supports daily operations, coordinates patient care, and ensures adherence to quality, safety, and regulatory standards-while modeling Trinity Health's Mission, Vision, and Values.What You Will Do Employment Type/Shift:
Full-time; 36-hour; Days Serve as the designated clinical leader for the unit on assigned shifts Plan, coordinate, and manage care for routine and complex patients Support daily operational performance and regulatory compliance Educate patients and families to support recovery and continuity of care Collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary partners to optimize outcomes Implement departmental priorities and support quality improvement initiatives What You Will Need Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor of Science in Nursing ( BSN) required , Active RN license in Maryland or Compact State BLS certification (AHA); additional life support as required by the unit Minimum 3 years of acute care RN experience Preferred Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred Prior informal or formal leadership experience in an acute care setting Experience in progressive care, neuro, or cardiac patient populations PCCN preferred - must obtain within 6 months of startPay Range:
$39.47 - $61.20/hour Pay is based on experience, skills, and education. Exempt positions under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) will be paid within the base salary equivalent of the stated hourly rates. The pay range may also vary within the stated range based on location.Ministry/Facility Information:
