Suitland, MD Job Details $45 - $55 an hour 7 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications CPR Certification Cardiovascular emergency response RN License BLS Certification ACLS Certification Associate Degree in Nursing Full Job Description About the Role Surgical Associates, Chartered is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to independently provide skilled nursing care for patients undergoing minimally invasive in-office vascular procedures. The RN will work across pre-operative, intra-operative, and PACU settings, and conduct assessments for office visit patients. Requirements Valid RN license — State of Maryland ADN required; BSN preferred 2+ years IR, ICU, ER, or PACU experience preferred
CPR, BLS & ACLS
certification required Conscious sedation experience & certification preferred What You'll Do Provide direct nursing care across pre-op, intra-op, PACU, and office visit settings Assess patient status and review charts to determine readiness for procedure Administer and titrate conscious sedation medications under physician direction Obtain IV access, perform EKGs, and collect bloodwork as indicated Monitor hemodynamic status and cardiac rhythms throughout procedures Document all assessments, vital signs, and changes in patient condition Provide pre- and post-procedure education to patients and families Respond rapidly to changes in patient condition and initiate emergency care if needed Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team for coordinated patient care Travel to satellite offices in Washington, DC and Waldorf, MD as needed Skills We're Looking For Cardiac monitoring & arrhythmia recognition Hemodynamic monitoring & emergency response Venipuncture & IV placement Strong verbal and written communication Critical thinking and problem-solving in a fast-paced environment Benefits Health, Dental & Vision Insurance 401(k) Paid Time Off
