This onsite position runs from now through the end of the school year, offering you the chance to make a lasting difference in a child's educational journey while working a consistent schedule of 35-37.5 hours each week over five days. Desired Qualifications & Experience Active, unrestricted RN license in Maine Prior experience as a school nurse or with pediatric populations preferred Strong assessment, documentation, and communication abilities Ability to collaborate with educators, administrators, and parents CPR/BLS certification current and maintained Comfortable providing care and advocacy in a school environment Role Responsibilities Provide direct medical care and monitoring for one student throughout the school day Administer medication, support any health-related needs, and respond promptly to emergencies Document interventions, observations, and any changes in condition Act as a liaison between family, school staff, and healthcare providers Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to all school policies and health guidelines Support the students participation in educational activities to the fullest extent possible You'll enjoy the stability of a W2 contract with an hourly wage determined by your experience and interview feedback.
