Job Description
Falmouth Public Schools is looking for K-12 daily nurse substitutes!
Requirements:
Must have a current Maine RN license Must have or be eligible for Maine Department of Education Criminal History Record Check (CHRC) from the Maine Dept. of Education (fingerprinting) and must pass a district-run background check.Recommended additional qualifications:
Knowledge of child and adolescent growth and development Knowledge of nursing care for children and adolescents An understanding of school health policies and procedures Competency in emergency care Familiarity with community health resources Desire to work with children/adolescents Recent practice as a registered nurse Falmouth Public Schools are located on a 100-acre district K-12 campus in Falmouth, Maine, a coastal community bordering the city of Portland. The nurse sub rate is $30/hr.
