Duties Perform thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and detailed health histories to inform individualized care plans. Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management tailored to each patient's needs. Manage complex clinical procedures such as wound suturing, catheterization, and ostomy care while maintaining aseptic techniques. Document all patient interactions comprehensively in electronic health record (EHR) ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations. Collaborate with facility physicians Provide compassionate care for all residents within the SNF setting Qualifications Valid nursing license Strong clinical skills including IV insertion, phlebotomy, sterile processing, and aseptic technique. Experience in SNF setting preferred Knowledge of advanced nursing practices such as acute pain management, triage procedures, and infection control protocols. Ability to work independently during evening/night shifts while maintaining excellent patient care standards. Excellent communication skills coupled with a compassionate approach to patient assessment and education.
