9664470-04572 Job Description Embark on a fulfilling contract assignment supporting a kindergarten student as a dedicated 1:1 Registered Nurse. This specialized position is located near Waldoboro, ME and offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in a student's school experience. The assignment starts as soon as possible and runs through June 10, 2027, providing stability and professional growth. This role centers on providing essential nursing services for a child with Dravet Syndrome and Autism, ensuring safety, health, and inclusion. Youll collaborate with educational and support staff, bring clinical expertise, and become a trusted advocate for your student.

Key Qualifications:

Active Registered Nurse license in Maine Experience or strong interest in school nursing and working with children with complex medical needs Knowledge of seizure management preferred Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

June 10, 2027 37.5-40 hours/week, Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM 3:00 PM Daily ride with the student to and from school Continuous monitoring for seizure activity and prompt implementation of medical plans as needed Assist and educate staff regarding seizure response protocols and considerations for outdoor activities Complete daily nursing observations and maintain accurate records Support behavioral data collection as able (preferred) Serve as the sites primary nurse, overseeing general nursing needs until the students return (anticipated late October)
