Category Nursing - RN-Operating Room Job Type Travel Set in picturesque Westbrook, ME, this opportunity places you minutes from scenic coastal Maine—an ideal destination to balance your passion for nursing with the thrill of new adventures. This travel assignment delivers significant professional growth by exposing you to advanced orthopedic procedures, robotic-assisted surgeries, and cutting-edge workplace practices that will enrich your résumé and perspective. Experience various leadership approaches as you contribute to a tight-knit, high-volume orthopedic surgical team across five state-of-the-art ORs.
Schedule/Hours:
Choice of 10 or 12-hour shifts 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Weekend call rotation: 1 in every 4 weekends One overnight trauma call (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM) Guaranteed 36 weekly hours
Ideal Qualifications:
Current, unencumbered RN license Minimum 2 years of recent orthopedic OR experience (including trauma and total joint revisions) Proficiency with multi-vendor systems (Stryker, DePuy, Smith & Nephew, Zimmer), Mako robotics, and the Hana table Level 1 trauma experience required
Preferred:
CNOR certification; broad surgical skillset (General, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, etc.) Flexible, accountable, detail-oriented team player
Key Responsibilities:
First scrub complex total joint revisions and multi-vendor ortho trauma cases Safely utilize robotic and advanced positioning equipment Achieve efficiency standards: rapid turnovers, high on-time starts Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary surgical teams in a 1:1 patient environment
