Job Description

Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract Take your nursing career to the next level in a fast-paced medical-surgical environment. This contract opportunity offers day shifts (7AM-7PM) with the requirement to float to units of equal or lower acuity as needed. Candidates should be comfortable adapting to various care settings, including the potential to work on a lockdown unit.
Schedule:
7AM to 7PM shifts 13-week assignment Opportunity for overtime after 48 hours
Qualifications:
Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Michigan Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Med Surg setting Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association Strong clinical skills, flexibility, and professional adaptability
Preferred:
Base telemetry experience Willingness to float to units of equal or lower acuity, including a lockdown unit
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive care to adult medical-surgical patients Perform thorough assessments, implement appropriate nursing interventions, and document care accurately Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient-centered care Respond to changes in patient status promptly, using critical thinking and clinical judgment Float between units as needed to meet patient care needs, maintaining the highest standard of practice
