Schedule:
Multiple shifts available covering nights, days, and mid-shifts Typical hours: 3 shifts per week, 12-hour shifts (standard: 7:00 pm - 7:30 am)
Qualifications:
Valid and unencumbered RN license Demonstrated experience in Med-Surg nursing (RN-MS) Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred) Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills Adaptability to varying patient acuity and census Strong collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care to Med-Surg patients, accurately completing assessments and maintaining comprehensive documentation Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and implement interventions as indicated by clinical protocols or physician orders Communicate changes in condition and collaborate closely with providers, patients, and families Respond promptly to emergencies and follow established processes for escalation Foster a healing environment by supporting patients' physical and emotional needs throughout their stay Maintain strict standards for infection control and patient safety This contract offers the opportunity to make an immediate impact while working alongside talented healthcare professionals.
