Job Description

As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients in various healthcare settings, including hospitals, clinics, or private homes. Your role will involve assessing patients' conditions, administering treatments, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and providing ongoing education to patients and their families. You will be a key member of the healthcare team, ensuring patient comfort, safety, and recovery. Assess and monitor patients' health status, including physical and mental health, and document progress. Administer medications, injections, and treatments as prescribed by physicians. Provide wound care, manage IVs, and perform other technical nursing procedures. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) for patients as needed (e.g., bathing, dressing, feeding). Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement patient care plans. Conduct physical exams and diagnostic tests, and assist in interpreting results. Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods. Ability to lift or assist patients with mobility needs (weight requirements as specified by the healthcare facility). Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and remain calm during emergencies.
Skills:
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with patients, families, and healthcare teams. Ability to multitask and manage a high patient load while maintaining quality of care. Strong knowledge of healthcare protocols, patient safety, and infection control.
