Responsibilities:

Prepare scan rooms and patients for MR examinations with high attention to comfort and safety. Administer IV and oral contrast materials as indicated, following strict protocols and screening for contraindications. Perform imaging procedures, using proper equipment warm-up, data input, and ensuring high-quality scans through accurate positioning and protocol adherence. Transport and assist patients into the exam room, explaining procedures and answering questions to ensure a reassuring experience. Maintain proper documentation and records for each scan, ensuring clinical information is accurate and images are well-organized for radiologist review.

Qualifications:

Current certification and licensure as an MRI Technologist. Demonstrated experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging procedures. Proficiency in interacting with patients and interdisciplinary teams. Strong organizational skills and capacity to adapt to dynamic clinical environments. IV contrast administration skills preferred.
