Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Required Qualifications:
Active RN license in Michigan (or compact state license) Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience in an Operating Room setting BLS and ACLS certifications (current) Strong critical thinking and communication skills Flexibility to adapt to new processes and environments Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary surgical team
Key Responsibilities:
Assist surgeons and anesthesia staff during procedures by providing surgical nursing care Prepare and maintain a sterile environment within the OR Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes Document patient care accurately and efficiently Support post-operative patient assessments as needed Collaborate with colleagues to ensure quality and safety standards
