Job Description:
Under the direct supervision and/or direction of the department manager, charge nurse, or staff nurse/team leader, the RN will perform duties assisting staff nurses in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with established hospital methods and procedures. The RN is expected to strive for superior performance by providing high-quality service that enhances the patient and family experience, with a focus on patient and family-centered care.
Important Notes:
McLaren Northern has implemented a strict 3-strike attendance policy effective 06/01/2024. Any RN contractor who is absent or more than 20 minutes late for a scheduled shift three times will be terminated immediately, except in cases involving communicable disease or hospitalization with supporting evidence. The position is based on night shifts in Long Term Care settings.
