1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Circulator for an Operating Room position requiring an active MI license, prior charge experience, and robot-assisted surgical skills. Details Operating Room setting at a Critical Access hospital Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM On-call responsibilities required 7 days per month, covering weekday evenings/overnights and full weekend shifts 1:1 patient ratio Circulator duties including conscious sedation and robot-assisted procedures in ortho, cataracts, endo, and general/gyn surgery Uses Epic charting system Requirements Active Michigan RN license required by start date (compact license not accepted) Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required NIHSS and TNCC certifications preferred 3-5 years of OR circulator experience required Previous charge nurse experience required Experience with general, ortho, cataracts, endo, robot-assisted general, and gyn surgery required Epic EMR experience preferred Proof of high school level education required Additional Information Role involves circulating for a variety of surgical specialties including robot-assisted procedures Surgical blue scrub color required for RNs Free parking available with badge access to the garage Pre-start training modules required, which may vary by specialty Maximum RTO of 5 days per assignment, must be submitted at time of profile submission Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travel candidates Former core staff must wait 12 months before returning to the facility First-time travelers may be considered for this position
