Full Job Description Hourly Pay:
$38- $42 / per hour Maxim Healthcare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to work with students in the school setting, in the health room or within the school district.

Responsible for providing professional, medical treatment to students Responsible for early detection of student physical problems and for completing student health evaluations Coordinates vision, hearing, and orthopedic screening and health assessments Responsible for providing, or assisting teachers with providing disease prevention, nutrition and general health education Assists school personnel with the promotion of health education and immunization programs Designs and implements student Individualized Health Plans (IHPs)- Provides, and/or oversees, student medication administration and medical treatments as required by student's IHP Maintains clinical records Provides emergency aid to students and school staff Consults with, conducts in-service training for, and serves as a resource person for school staff Participates in the implementation of health instruction/curriculum Counsels & assists students and parents in health-related adjustments
