Category Schools - RN Nurse Job Type Contract Take your nursing skills into a dynamic school setting, making a meaningful difference for students and staff. We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to support student health needs for the remainder of the school year on a contract basis. With a start date as soon as possible, you'll work 25-30 hours per week, collaborating closely with the district RN to deliver excellent care and support. In this vital position, you'll be at the forefront of school health services, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for all students. Qualifications:

Current, unrestricted RN license Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred Strong assessment, intervention, and documentation abilities Excellent communication and collaboration skills CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)

Key Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care for student emergencies and daily needs Develop, distribute, and update individualized student health plans Train staff members on implementing student health plans, including chronic condition management Lead in-service training for staff in CPR, First Aid, seizure response, and other health-related topics Liaise with parents, healthcare providers, and administration to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate and confidential health records in accordance with regulations This role offers a unique opportunity to build strong connections within the school community, develop your leadership skills, and directly impact student well-being.
