Category Nursing - RN-MS Job Type Contract A rewarding opportunity is available for an experienced Med Surg Registered Nurse passionate about delivering high-quality patient care. This position requires a registered nurse with a strong background in medical-surgical environments, ready to support diverse patient needs across different care areas for a duration of 13 weeks.

Schedule:

7AM - 7PM shifts Candidates must be prepared to float to units with equal or lesser acuity, including potential assignment to a lockdown unit as necessary.

Desired Experience & Certifications:

Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Med Surg RN Active BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) Current, unrestricted Michigan RN license Base telemetry experience preferred Flexibility to adapt to changing patient populations and unit assignments

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive patient care in a medical-surgical setting Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans Administer medications, monitor patient vital signs, and perform daily assessments Provide clear communication and education to patients and their families Document care using electronic health records in accordance with facility policies Float among care units as needed, maintaining a consistently high standard of practice
