Job Description

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher educational attainment from an accredited program Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license 1+ years experience working in a behavioral health setting, preferably in an inpatient or outpatient environment Strong understanding of psychotropic medications, their side effects, and proper administration protocols Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards as outlined by the American Nurses Association (ANA)Responsibilities:
Conduct initial patient assessments and develop individualized care plans in consultation with a multidisciplinary team Administer medications as prescribed and monitor for efficacy and potential side effects Provide emotional and psychological support to patients and their families, using evidence-based therapeutic communication techniques Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational workshops on topics related to mental health and well-being Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic and integrated approach to patient care, including discharge planning and aftercare supportBenefits:
