Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic individual to join our Health Center team as an Admissions Nurse that is responsible for leading and driving the Health Center admissions process and for fostering and maintaining open, effective communication between the facility and referral sources, physicians, and third-party payers. This is a full-time, Monday-Friday 10:30a-7p position with rotating on call every 6th weekend . Ready to jump into a role that matters? Here's a snapshot of what you'll be doing each day as an Admissions Nurse (RN/LPN): Meet with new residents and family members upon arrival to community for general admission orientation ensuring a friendly welcome to the community. Complete admission duties and paperwork where the new resident is assigned. Complete physical assessment, in-take forms, medication reconciliation from the discharge summary, initial care plans, and other forms relevant to the admission process.
