1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Critical Care Unit position requiring an active MI license and 2+ years of CCU experience. Details Work in a 12-bed Critical Care Unit (CCU) Nurse to patient ratio of 4:1 or 2:1 depending on patient acuity Uses Cerner EMR Night shift schedule, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Weekend rotation required Holiday rotation required On-call required during low census periods Requirements Active MI RN license required at time of consideration Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) certifications required 2+ years of current CCU experience required Prior travel nursing experience preferred Prior Cerner EMR experience preferred Strong manual dexterity for managing IV tubing, syringes, and other equipment Clear oral and written communication skills Ability to work with diverse patient and staff populations with cultural and spiritual sensitivity Ability to manage time efficiently with minimal supervision Additional Information Provide critical care nursing services to patients requiring intensive monitoring and treatment Requires selective attention and ability to shift focus between multiple tasks Requires information ordering skills for medication calculations and data interpretation
