September 14, 2026 - December 11, 2026 We're seeking a compassionate Travel Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to join our hospice team in Menominee, Michigan. This position offers a consistent weekday schedule with manageable patient volumes, allowing you to provide personalized, high-quality end-of-life care to patients in their homes and residential facilities. Schedule Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM On-call every other weekend and 2-3 weekdays Average caseload: 5-6 patients per day Coverage Area Menominee County, Michigan Responsibilities Coordinate comprehensive hospice and end-of-life care for terminally ill patients. Serve as the primary liaison between patients, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary hospice team. Perform initial and ongoing physical, psychosocial, and spiritual assessments. Develop, implement, and update individualized care plans. Manage pain and symptoms to maximize patient comfort and dignity. Educate patients and caregivers on disease progression, medications, hospice services, and the grieving process. Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR). Communicate patient status changes with physicians and the hospice medical director. Participate in interdisciplinary team (IDT) meetings to review and adjust care plans. Requirements Active Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license Current CPR certification Strong assessment, communication, and patient education skills Ability to work independently while collaborating with an interdisciplinary care team Preferred Qualifications Previous hospice nursing experience Home health experience is a plus Additional Information Mileage reimbursement provided between the first patient visit and the last patient visit of the day. Pay Details:
