Job Summary:
As a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized care to mothers and newborns throughout the birthing process — from admission through postpartum. You will monitor fetal and maternal wellbeing, assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, administer medications, and support families during one of life's most critical moments. You will collaborate closely with OB physicians, midwives, and the care team to ensure safe outcomes for both mother and baby.
Requirements:
Licenses & Certifications Active RN License required BLS and NRP Certifications required ACLS preferred EFM (Electronic Fetal Monitoring) Certification preferred Experience & Education Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required Travel nursing experience preferred EMR experience required Clinical Skills Proficient in fetal monitoring and interpretation Experience assisting with vaginal and C-section deliveries Knowledge of obstetric emergencies and rapid intervention Ability to care for high-risk antepartum patients How to
