Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated Supervisory Visit RN to provide flexible, as-needed nursing supervision during patient visits. This role involves overseeing care procedures, ensuring compliance with healthcare standards, and supporting patient care in various settings. You will visit client homes and complete a short survey after observing the caregiver and client in the home Each visit usually is 15-30 minutes this is an easy peasy job. The supervisory visits happen 2x per year for each caregiver we currently have 141 caregivers to give you an idea of how many you will be required to complete. They must be done in a certain time frame. This position offers the opportunity to work independently with a somewhat flexible schedule, primarily conducting supervisory visits based on patient needs and agency requirements. This job would be perfect for a retired, semi-retired or part time RN looking. Pay will be$35 per visit plus mileage at $0.50 cents per mile. Most clients are Mount Pleasant, Clare, Harrison, Alma and surrounding areas. You can complete multiple visits per day in the same area. Some weekends and evenings may apply for the very few caregivers who work at non office hours. Responsibilities Conduct supervisory visits to assess patient care quality and compliance with healthcare protocols in home care environments. Complete the Supervisory Survey Provide guidance on any medical procedures done if any. Evaluate Caregiver Skills, appearance, attitude. Oversee Agency caregiver performance during visits, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and infection control protocols Maintain detailed documentation of supervisory activities and patient interactions in accordance with healthcare standards. Experience Demonstrated ability to perform Supervisory Survey Requirements Posess a Valid Drivers License and Auto Insurance Experience working with vulnerable populations including seniors (geriatrics), patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease (memory care), developmental disabilities. Knowledge of infection control practices and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining safety standards during supervisory visits. This Supervisory Visit RN position offers a dynamic work environment where experienced nurses can leverage their expertise across multiple specialties while maintaining a flexible schedule tailored to Agency Needs.
