Details Work in the Family Birth Place, a Labor, Delivery and Recovery (LDRP) unit serving over 500 families annually Perform Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, and Post Partum Couplet Care 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM Work week runs Saturday through Friday Every third weekend required, with holidays required if scheduled No regularly scheduled on-call, though voluntary time off due to low census may require on-call availability Requirements Active Michigan (MI) RN license required and must be in-hand at time of profile upload Active BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA) Active AWHONN certification 2+ years of OB/GYN experience required High proficiency in LDRP care including Labor, Triage, Delivery, Circulating, C-Sections, Newborn Care, and Post Partum Couplet Care STABLE certification preferred Must pass a dysrhythmia test prior to working on the floor COVID vaccine required, with exemptions allowed Must have a skills checklist current within 1 year pertinent to OB/GYN specialty Must provide 2 completed supervisory reference forms within the last two years Additional Information Provide compassionate, family-centered care throughout the maternity and delivery experience, welcoming support persons to participate Facility-provided scrubs required for dress code No more than 5 days of requested time off (RTO) will be accepted, and all RTO must be submitted and verified prior to upload Scheduling requests made after submission or during interview will not be approved and may result in a rescinded offer Candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered Must have personal vehicle for transportation to this assignment
