We are currently seeking dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurses (RNs) and Cardiovascular Techs to join our Cath Lab Team at Trinity Oakland.

Full-Time Our state-of-the-art Heart Catheterization (Cath) and Electrophysiology (EP) Lab is dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiovascular care. We operate 5 advanced labs, including one dedicated EP lab, three Cath labs, and one hybrid lab in the OR. Our facility includes a cutting-edge Hybrid Operating Room (OR) that allows for seamless integration of both Cath and EP procedures, ensuring the highest level of patient care and procedural efficiency. Our hybrid cases focus on Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR), Structural Hearth, Mitral Valve Repair (MVR), and device explants. Catheterization (Cath)
Cases:
We handle around 10-14 Cath cases each day, focusing on diagnostic and interventional procedures such as coronary angiography, percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), stent placement, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), fractional flow reserve (FFR) measurements, Chronic Total Occlusion (CTO) procedures, and treatment of STEMI (ST-Elevation Myocardial Infarction). Our team of highly skilled cardiologists, electrophysiologists, nurses, and technologists work collaboratively to deliver exceptional care, utilizing the latest technology and techniques to achieve the best possible outcomes for our patients. Required Qualifications (Education, License/Certification and Experience): Education for
RNs :
Graduation from accredited nursing program BSN degree preferred or must agree in writing to obtain a BSN within five years Education for
Cardiovascular Techs :
Graduate of an approved school of Radiology, Cardiovascular Technology or Nursing programs orequivalent. Licensure for
RNs:
Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) License. BLS and ACLS Licensure for
Cardiovascular Techs:
Current certification as a Cardiovascular Technologist with a specialty in invasive cardiology (CCIcredentialing) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), preferred. BLS and ACLS Strong preference for Critical Care and/or Cath Lab experience
Job Duties:
Scrubs and gowns for surgery to assist the cardiologist in all aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures. Performs a variety of specialized and complex invasive and non-invasive cardiovascular procedures. Assists the cardiologist in all surgical and diagnostic procedures. The RN will prepare patients and assist in monitoring the patient's condition during invasive cardiovascular procedures.
