In this vital role, you will provide expert nursing care to patients undergoing fertility treatments and assist in reproductive health procedures. Your energetic approach will help create a positive, supportive environment for individuals and couples pursuing their family-building goals. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of fertility protocols, excellent patient assessment skills, and a passion for guiding patients through sensitive and complex treatments. Duties Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history review, and reproductive health evaluations Assist with fertility procedures such as intrauterine insemination (IUI), egg retrievals, and embryo transfers, ensuring aseptic technique and patient safety Administer medications including hormone injections, IV infusions, and other treatments with precision and care Educate patients on fertility options, medication protocols, and post-treatment care to promote understanding and compliance Maintain accurate medical documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Epic or Cerner, adhering to HIPAA regulations Monitor patients during procedures, managing airway, sedation levels, and acute pain as needed in a fast-paced environment Collaborate with physicians, embryologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize treatment plans and ensure quality care standards are met Skills Proven experience with EMR/EHR systems such as Epic or Cerner for efficient documentation and patient management Strong knowledge of reproductive physiology, fertility treatments, and related procedures like ultrasound guidance or catheterization Skilled in IV insertion, medication administration including injections, and aseptic technique during sterile procedures Pre and post operative care for procedures including in office hysteroscopy, oocyte retrieval, and embryo transfer Familiarity with laboratory processes including specimen collection/processing and ICD coding for accurate record keeping Experience working with individuals undergoing assisted reproductive technologies (ART), including long-term care or outpatient settings Ability to perform physical examinations, vital signs assessment, and patient education with empathy and professionalism Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards to ensure patient confidentiality at all times Join us in delivering compassionate fertility care that transforms lives!
